I am sure that St. George Police Department Officer Talbot will say that she was just doing her work to serve and protect her community when she answered a call for help on Sunday daytime when a hawk whose gender was not mentioned was stuck inside of a minivan that was traveling southbound on Interstate 15 and the hawk needed help to get out of the trap when the hawk was caught between the roof of the van and the cargo carrier.
The incident began when the hawk flew up from the center grassy median most likely in an attempt of being struck by the van.
Officer Talbot did her work of pulling the hawk away from the trap area and holding on to the animal until officials with the Utah Division of Wildlife Services to examine the condition of the hawk.
The hawk was found to be in good condition and released before being taken away by the wildfire officials where the hawk was released so the bird could fly away into his or her region in the wild.
I am sure that all police officers enjoy rescuing animals in need since it is less stressful on them mentally than dealing with a crime scene.

It is kind of odd that a hawk entered a van and get stuck inside the cargo area.

It is very odd for a hawk to land inside of a van and get stuck inside the cargo area.
