Plot twist, reddit story.

So i saw this story on Reddit account on TikTok about this independent woman who met a man on a vacation, they instantly connected. After few months got married.. everything went great they met each other's family.. the only issue was that her husband's mother was kind of avoiding her. On vacations, the husband always suggests they go to see his mother and family and she's okey with it, she told him she feels like his mother don't like her so he always plans some fun activities to get her out of the house. Unfortunately everytime they go to visit, she falls sick and she can't do any of the activities. This happened like 3 times in a row. She was convinced that his mother is poisoning her. He, of course, didn't believe it. Next time they went to his family's place, she tried to get food from outside, and not eat or drink anything that didn't come from a closed package. Unfortunately, when the rest of the family came, she left the table and left her plate unattended. Realizing her mistake, she switched her plate with her husband's plate. The husband fell sick. After like 3 days of her husband being sick, she couldn't take it anymore and she told him she switched plates. He got aggressively angry she barely managed to get out of the house with no shoes just her phone in her hand. He on the other hand, still angry and mad, he went to his mother's place with a knife in hand, but she killed him with a gun. Turns out this mister was already married once, his wife died during an activity that he planned and he got so much money from her life insurance. So the mother was afraid he will kill this new wife as well during some fun activity so she made sure to make her sick to prevent her on going on any adventure with him, she was just trying to protect her. Turn out she was right, she found out he already made a life insurance for her without telling her .. The mother and the widow are still friends. Happy ending ? This left me shocked.
