The Witcher: The Last Wish

Last year almost everyone was talking about the Witcher on Netflix. I don't have Netflix anymore, as the cost has gone up beyond my comfort zone. To satisfy my curiosity I bought the book: The Last Witch. I haven't gotten too far with it. I'm on page 75 now, having began reading it two days ago. It's a far more interesting read than I would have thought. The only thing that bothers me about it, is that it seems to jump around very quickly from one location to the next without so much as a word as Geralt traveling there. I noticed this especially with the temple of Melitele (did I spell that right?). I'm going to keep reading it though, because I'm a curious person and curiosity in me never shuts up until I indulge it.

My oldest son is a fan of the Witcher. He's watching the series on Netflix and has just begun reading the books.

I may watch them too, if I find them on DVD. What does he think about the books?
