Shanghai Lockdown

I recently saw a news about the unending lockdown in Shanghai. The sad thing about this news is that many people are starving because food supplies are running out and groceries are being sold at high prices, regardless of local government policies, I think this is quite tragic. Stay strong Shanghai!
In the chaos and misery of lockdown, millions in China's biggest city are increasingly united by their rising anger

Just to let you know, since you are a new user, that you need to place a comma between words for proper tags. Tags here work by exact matches, and right now your tag reads "LOCKDOWN SHANGHAI CHINA STARVING HUNGER" as one tag which will not show up in a search unless someone looks for that exact group of words in that exact order. Using commas will give you 5 tags reading "LOCKDOWN", "SHANGHAI", "CHINA", "STARVING", "HUNGER".

wow they're still on lockdown until now. I think it was last month when I read that they were on lockdown again. Didn't expect it would be this long.

@Naprilian you got the point, Who are they?
I'm still locked down now in Shanghai. I do not think people like to be locked down at all, at least not so long(30+ Days).
I do believe this is mission impossible consider the virous version of the virus.
Let's see what's gonna happen.

@siao441 the government, I mean there is nothing wrong if they want to suppress the spread of covid, but that the lockdown policy is still not well organized, because a few days ago I saw a video of many people starting to protest, there was even a mother screaming for medicine to her neighbors, I am sorry for that and I hope that future policies will be much better than the current one.
no matter how you are now, hopefully you will still be fine

My heart goes out to those people suffering from hunger. When will the lockdown end?

I don't know, the last thing I know is that the government there hasn't made it clear when the lockdown will end

I think this situation does exist, but the government should solve this problem long ago. What the Chinese government wants to do has always been fast

I can only imagine what it's like to be forced to be in a lockdown for such a long time.

That's sad. I heard about the lockdown, but I didn't know that the food supplies are running out.

maybe when many areas in China were locked down, several big cities could not do it at the same time because it would reduce their economy, so now the strict lockdown is only carried out in Shanghai, when in some places in China it has been not strict lockdown.
somebody can correct me if i'm wrong

What is it when you do the same thing over and over again and expect different results? Yeah, it's just punishment at this point for their citizens. The audacity of humans thinking that they can stop diseases that have been perfected by nature to spread rapidly and effectively.
