Snapped this view from the car today. More errands to get done. Lunch was enjoyed. A quick sandwich picked up, and a drive through the park was so peaceful.
Taking the back roads always has its perks. You see more trees and less traffic.
Another gorgeous day enjoyed here. Will go for a walk soon. The cats are back in the screen room soaking in the sun rays.
Hope your day has been a good one.
Photo is mine.

I love driving through the back roads too. Some days I prefer to take the long way and enjoy the peacefulness of the surrounding countryside instead of taking the highway to wherever I'm going.

You captured a really nice view!
No such concept of such back roads except for a few places.
Moreover, such back roads could either be too crowded or too desolate to go there unless we risk our own security.

I am enjoying my day at home working on sharing good news stories and doing surveys.

Nothing like some wilderness. Each year that passes areas are made into parking lots for stores leaving little nature to enjoy. Thankful for Parks where you can take a nature walk.

@dgobucks226 Same here. So far it is warm and humid. But a walk will help later.

I love riding my bike on back roads for the reason of less traffic, but you do get to see so much more! Including wildlife! that is a very nice picture too, thank you for sharing.

It got a little better I think, but still didn't start out as well. Managed to get everything I wanted done, so I'll be thankful for that.

I used to enjoy taking road trip through the Catskills when I lived in NYC and I agree taking back roads was always the most enjoyable,

My daughter and husband had a dinner-out date. So, my grandchildren stayed with us for dinner.
It had been raining. But I still managed to put in some lettuce seedlings in their bed.

Beautiful land such as this is getting harder and harder to find as housing continues to spread.
