Do you suspect you might have been infected with Covid and not known it?

I certainly have not had severe Covid symptoms, but about a year ago, I had Pink Eye. I am not prone to that, and not sure if I ever had it before. That is also a Covid symptom. Maybe I had it, and just didn't get very sick. I haven't ever been tested. The news said that approximately 60 percent of the population has had Covid, but not every one has been aware of it, some are asymptomatic. I wasn't completely asymptomatic, but I think the possibilty I may have had it is rather high.

it may be true. I too had very mild symptoms and it might have gone undetected if have not done a test for contact tracing for another friend.

Yes, I think many have been infected and if you had shots you probably had a milder case than you would have had otherwise.

@ExplorewtMe They seem to keep on coming but they say by fall may be better and longer lasting vaccines.

Back in mid-January 2020, before all this covid stuff, we went on a skiing trip. I suddenly got super sick from the first day and it was the WORST I ever felt. I had certain symptoms and just brushed it off as a bad flu. I felt a little better, sort of, before coming home . . . and then discovered so many others experienced this bad, odd illness in January. Also for another month or so, I had weird things going on with my throat. By March I was better but then all this covid stuff came into light. I never tested, but I just have to wonder .

@snowy22315 Strange, right? It's very possible we all had it or some form of it.

I don't fear the Covid-19,i fear Communist Totalitarian system. That's worse than Covid-19,it will deprive your freedom of speech, thoughts and faith etc.It will turn you into a slave and make your children become the slaves too unless you can overthrow the Communist Party and become the New Ruler of this country. If i die of the Covid-19,i'll be happy.Because i know, under the CCP's tyranny, things only can get worse. Now i don't ask much,i just wish i can die peacefully before i become Winston Smith who was brainwashed and executed by Totalitarian Government just because he has the dissidences.

I have an oximeter to check my oxygen levels and I never went lower than 98%. I took self tests a couple of time as I sneezed, but it was because of pollen. I have many testing kits at home, should I had a doubt I would check.

Oh, if you know you don't have a problem, why do you check your levels? When I had mine checked at the doctor it was high like that too.

@snowy22315 - I check my levels to be sure that I am healthy. Now the Covid pills work very well if you are treated within 24 hours from the contamination. As you say, you can be asymptomatic, but you can contaminate the others even if you have no problems.

Many here have had it and our restrictions have virtually all lifted so we could get more and more cases now.

In most places here it is business as usual. Few people are wearing masks. Luckily this state is one where infections aren't rising, but that could change any day.

Now that the virus is still spreading and infecting, I always think that I might have it and is just asymptomatic. Last January my son got it and since we live in the same place, I suspected that I could have it as well. I got symptoms but never got swabbed since the doctor said it is of no use anymore and just stay isolated so that we would not infect others more. My son recovered and I did not have any symptoms at all.

No. I don't. I'm not going to think every illness is covid. Hell, I had a cold several months ago and it was just that-- a cold. I'm not about to be jumping through hoops because someone is paranoid.

There is a difference between a cold and known symptoms of Covid. However, my hairdresser told me she thought she had a sinus infection and it turned out she tested positive for Covid.

I don't think that I've ever had covid, but I believe that my hubby and our daughter-in-law have. In December 2019 there was a 'bug' that went thru our daughter-in-law's office where people felt very tired, had sore throats, headaches and were all given a week off from work from their doctor. In early January of 2020 my hubby's workplace had an awful bug go thru the office. Their IT guy went to their office in another site, he was sick at the time, and within a few days everyone there was sick with it also. My hubby had loud breathing, coughing, chills, a fever and exhaustion.

@Marty1 The only reason I didn't call my doctor. I have allergies to scented sprays and cleaning products. Every store I go in, they spray disinfectant and use disinfectant cleaners, to sanitize. After going inside a store, I start coughing and I'm sure it's an allergic reaction. Also, every store now has flowers. I'm allergic to flowers, also. Outdoors, I'm just fine. Flowers indoors, then I start coughing.

I once thought I had omicron, because I experienced all the symptoms myself but I didn't do the test, just ordered medicine by online and locked myself at home.
