With Mother's day approaching, I am reminded of the wonderful things my mother did for me and the blessings she gave me by being her child. This June it will be 7 years since my mother passed away and every day I think of her and can still hear her voice as it gave me words of advice, tips on how to run a home, etc. I can still hear her laughter and see her smile whenever something amuses me. whenever I am clumsy I think back on the time that I slipped and accidentally dumped my Christmas dessert into her lap and her just picking it off her and licking her fingers and saying that food is meant to go inside the tummy, not on the outside of the tummy. Many recipes that my mother taught me I have continued to make for my own kids and they love it and often ask when can we have Grandma whatever it is dish. Even though my wife never actually had the opportunity to meet my mother in the flesh she did talk to her often and get her motherly advice. Moms wherever you are and whos ever mother you are biological or step in this post I solute you for everything you have done for your children. We love you and thank God every day for everything that you do or say. Thanks for the food, the hugs, the discipline, and for being there when no one else was. Mom thanks for being my guardian angel here on earth and cant wait to be with you once again. All my love your Son
