It really is like the old days. / myLot

George has breakfast going, as do I. We're going to watch t.v. and eat. Then we'll be headed out. What makes this like the old days, is our cat, Chilly, will want to share. And, that reminds me when we'd used to fry up some bacon, and have to share our food with our late cat, Precious. I missed those days.

The older I get, the more things I miss. The house is the same yet now I live alone here. And I feel like a survivor of a battle I did not want to fight. I catch myself singing La balade des dames du temps jadis.

George didn't want bacon this morning/afternoon. But, he did have pancakes and sausage.

I never made bacon back when I had cats but they would go crazy if we opened a can of tuna fish. The baby loves when my husband feeds her bacon. It grosses me out when he gives it to her but I’m a vegetarian.

My late cat, Precious, loved all things meat. So I had to be careful when it came to people food.
