What is the best way you can help someone, financially or mentally? When was the last time you helped someone?

first i'l give my frnd mental support, so that he wont crash !! then according to the situation, i wud decide wat to do next...!

i am my mothers sole caregiver. She has terminal cancer. I put my life on hold to be with her. I also, before she got ill to donate time with my daughter to a half wayhouse for abused children in our local town. If I could help out financially, I would, but this cancer has wiped me out completely, and I am depending on my moms two sisters to help me buy diapers and her medicine.
