So, Trader Joes is very popular, and I like shopping there from time to time, but what I dislike is that they don't have a lot of items that normal grocery stores have. I mean, I know they are supposed to be an affordable and trendy health food store, but would it kill them to carry yeast?.What's wrong with that? I was thinking of making bread today, but can't do it without yeast. Also, all of their pepperoni is uncured. I thought I would get some pepperoni yesterday, but no immediate plans for pizza and I don't want it turning all slimy on me. I could have put it in the freezer I guess, but I didn't think of that then. I like stores that carry what I need.

Yeah I know what you mean..they should carry a few staples like that..it would be very convenient for people.
You know I have never shopped at a Trader Joes..there are a few here but too far away for me.

Yes, I was at Costco and Trader Joes, and still don't have everything I need. I could have purchased both of those at Costco, but I don't need amounts of either of those that would feed an army.
Also, I wanted a yellow onion, but not going to pay .99 for one, when I have a bag of red at home.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, if it is something you are going to use a lot of or divide and use as gifts or something it is OK, but for the average person or even family, it is alot!

I also prefer to get all my grocery items on my list from the same place. It's convenient. I am sorry that they don't have some of the items that you needed.

Yes, there is a little store on the way home though, I could have stopped there, but they wont let you use any plastic under a 5.00 purchae and I had already spent my cash.

I like TJs as well, but I don't buy everything that I need there--because of that reason. They just don't have staples--we have a couple of great natural food stores and mills for grain--they also sell yeast and things like that--I hate having to go to a million different stores though--

I've shopped there a few times. Their product selection is definitely very unique. Not a store for everyday shopping needs.

TJ's here isnt really any further away than anything else of note. So, I will make an appearance occasionally there on a weekday. Weekends are out of the question. It is a mob scene.

They specialize in healthy kinds of foods. I have gotten a few winners from there.
