Remember me? I feel awful for not being here, but life took me away. We were invited to our friends’ house in North Carolina, where we spent 9 days. We had to visit our friend in Florida, because he had surgery. We only spent two days with him and checked our condo. Home to see our granddaughter skate and plant my garden and flowers. Trip to revisit Charleston, South Carolina and to meet friends there 4 days. Home to meet with landscaping company to design a lawn, etc. Home to kitty sit while our son went on vacation with his girlfriend to the Delaware Gap. Home to send our older son and his family off to Munich and Innsbruck for my grandson’s hockey tournament. Home to celebrate Mother’s Day with my younger son and his girlfriend’s mother this Sunday. Back to Florida for three days for my friend’s birthday next week. Trip to Maine to visit my grandson’s new hockey camp later in May. Home to receive delivery of all my patio furniture, half of which is stuffed in my garage, still in boxes. Omg! I’m beyond crazed and exhausted. And today is our older son’s wedding anniversary. At least he will enjoy it in Europe. Friday date night. See you when I can catch my breath.

Thanks! I’m happy to be home myself right now. Our friends, whom we visited in NC are back in Florida at their other place. We had great weather in NC. Rain today in CT.

It is so much better to be busy in real life than in the virtual world. We have bad weather here in Europe. After a wonderful sunny winter, May brought rain and dull days. May be from next week garden time will be back.

@DianneN - April is usually rain, we had no rain. May is the most beautiful month of the year, not this year. I think that in a few days we are going to have sunny and warmer days. I have many plants to move in the garden.

It's been fun being away from the computer. The weather here has been cooler and more rainy than usual except for some gorgeous sunny days. Not fair, because they tease us so much! Can't wait to plant and dig more.

I guess we were letting off steam after being cooped up for over two years. Fun seeing our friends again. Home for now and loving it. There’s no place like home for certain.

The Delaware gap is only a few hours from me if that. It looks absolutely gorgeous. I want to go there hiking someday. Wow you sure have been busy traveling.

@DianneN that’s great they got to use the new tent. My husband wants to take the baby camping a lot when she’s young so she will enjoy it more my oldest two don’t like the outdoors much and I hiked with them a lot when they were young.

They enjoyed hiking and camping there. He bought his gf a new tent for Christmas and they finally got to use it. I'm drained from traveling. A couple of more trips and I'll be done for a while.

@DianneN Oh I'm glad you can relax later. Those mammograms are always a big pain in many ways. I'm always relieved when the physical pain is over and then the worry pain is over.

My goodness. Are you flying all these trips or driving? What part of NC were you in? I hope the weather was good while you were here. It's been quite up and down for the last several weeks. The garden spot looks beautiful.

All flying thank goodness with masks and no eating snacks - lol. Flat Rock, NC or Kenmure??? Do you know it? Gorgeous house with a view of the mountains. The weather was pretty good when we were there. Thank you! So much work being done around here, that it's good getting away from it.

Happy Mothers Day Dianne!! I'm out of breath just reading all that's been going on with you and your family. Never a dull moment in your house. Hope your grandson has a wonderful trip (as well as the family). How exciting for him to travel to Germany for his hockey. I'm sure the Ice Princess was happy that you were able to see her skate. Happy Mother's Day to you, too, Marilyn! It's been more crazy around here than usual lately. My daughter-in-law and son sent me some photos and videos from Munich. It's been a real eye opener for the kids, and they are enjoying the food.

Nice to see you! Life has been crazy here for us. Thank you! It's just one area of our patio. We need some more work done on it and are waiting for a fire pit to be installed by the contractor. The supply chain has created a problem.
