Has your dog or puppy ever scared itself by doing something silly?

I don't have a dog, but I do have 2 cats. The little one nearly jumped out of her skin one day when she jumped on the bathroom counter and spied another cat in the mirror. She hunched up her back and let out a hiss. It was hilarious.

Yes actually. Our beagle did something like that when we got her a year ago. We have a big mirror on the outside of our bedroom door. She was sitting on the back of our couch and started barking thinking that there was another dog in the house. She ran up to the mirror and started growling and pretty much going insane because of her reflection. Once she saw the dog growling back at her, She yelped and ran to the couch and hid under my blanket. I laughed for about 30 minutes about it.

i have seen something like that in TV and it was so much fun watching.
