Preparing for the vets

Here is Coco. He is trying out his animal carrier. He will have to go in it this afternoon when he visits the vets. I am getting him used to sitting in his carrier as the only time he has used it was when he came home with me from the pet store. Hopefully he won’t be too scared now he is familiar with it. He is visiting the vets to have his nails clipped. I have tried to keep up with them but I cannot cut them short enough and they are overgrown. I don’t think they give him much discomfort, but he digs his claws into me, and my nephews won’t handle him because of his long nails. Hopefully once he has had them trimmed he will be easier to handle. He’s a Netherland Dwarf so he will never grow to a huge size.
