Joined Neighbor For Breakfast

A cool morning here after lots of rain over the weekend. Enjoying it while I can. The heat will return in a few days unfortunately. My sweet neighbor invited me out to breakfast. A local diner serves great food. As you see in the photo, they sever large portions as well. Homemade biscuits, sausage gravy, bacon and eggs. I enjoyed breakfast, coffee and a nice visit with my neighbor. A great way to start the week. Now to enjoy the nice cool weather. The cats are snuggled on their blankets. sleeping of course. Bluebirds are feeding their babies. All is good here.

Breakfast looks delicious. I love biscuits and sausage gravy. Haven't made it in ages. It was nice that you got to go to breakfast with your neighbor.

How sweet of your neighbor to invite you out to breakfast. Glad you had a good time and enjoyed his company and a good meal. It's nice to eat out and I find that breakfast is never a disappointment when you eat it out.

She is the best. And is always talking about her two daughters in college. She has had a hard time letting them go. Thankfully one is home now for a few weeks. The other is engaged. I listen to her problems. It was nice to get out.
