Thanks to the actions of the Burlington North Carolina Fire Department who will simply say that to the public that they are just doing the job that they were hired to do in saving lives and putting out fires, two adults, a two year child and a dog were rescued on Wednesday afternoon after a fire that was started by accident in their second floor apartment. The Burlington firefighters used a ladder to get to the second floor to save the lives of the four persons that would have perished if the firefighters had not arrived to not only put out the fire in time. Thanks to the efforts of the firefighters, no one was injured in the fire that destroyed the apartment and displaced seven persons. The American Red Cross is assisting the victims of the fire to find temporary homes at this time. Thank goodness for charities like the American Red Cross for their service in assisting persons who lose their place to stay after a natural disaster happens due to circumstances beyond their control or an accident.

Firefighters are on the run means they're on the go to rescue anyone who is in danger. They're commissioned to save lives. It's their mission. No hero accolade for them. They're doing their duties for that on or off duty.

I agree with you since a home can be replaced not the loss of life.
