I think it's one week now. I think I have moved my arms in a wrong way while I sleep. I woke up and it's very painful. I cannot lift it up without pain. It is painful with certain movements. I already take pain medicines like Alaxan and bought 5 pieces I take every lunch. But it is still painful. It's first time to happen to me that I have body aches that takes a long time to go. I rub with some pain liniment still it is there.

Hope it's better now. Physiotherapy is one of the best ways to heal such pains.

It's already one week and the pain doesn't go away. Probably some nerves in your arm are damaged. That's only my guess.

Must be muscle-related or some nerve had been affected when you slept. If it stays like that better have it checked by a doctor so they could assess what therapy to do with it. If the pain persist you might need to have that consulted at a Physical Therapist.

I damaged my shoulder years ago lifting a too heavy weight. I had physiotherapy, but it still hurts time by time.

I didn't lift anything heavy. Maybe I just suddenly made a wrong move with my arm. It still hurts until now

I once had a painful arm I used an ointment to relax the muscle and then put it into a sling to give it a rest and I believe the pain went away in just about a week.

I never tried using a sling. It's not always painful there are just movements that trigger the pain

Maybe you have pulled a muscle or strained a ligament. I hope it improves soon. Chronic pain is difficult to cope with.
