A breaking heart

Today my heart goes out to the parents of the 19 children who were murdered in Texas and to add insult to injury the 4 children who lost their mother who was a teacher at the school and NOW their father who has died due to a fatal heart attack over the grief of the loss of his wife who were married for 24 years meeting as high school sweethearts.
How many more innocent children have to die before we take real action to curb the violence.
How much blood has to be spilled onto the hands of law makers who think their guns are more important than the lives of innocent children,
Guns ARE THE PROBLEM because the 50 Republicans in the United states senate who think that thoughts and prayers are enough,
Meanwhile, families are being ripped apart and destroyed because Ted Cruise and other republicans think the 2nd amendment means different to what it does.
If you voted for a republican in 2020 you have blood on your hands because you support mass murder, you support crime and you do nothing to stop it.
The lie Republicans have told is that democrats want to defund the police,
THIS IS A LIE
The GOP wants to defund the police and allow vigilantes the freedom to kill innocent people.
The GOP says - let's build a wall to keep the baddies out,- WAKE UP the baddies are already here,
The GOP says - we need better mental health for these people but REFUSE TO FUND IT
THIS NOVEMBER VOTE FOR GUN REFORM AND A SAFER AMERICA
VOTE BLUE to cut the RED TAPE

I agree it's tragic that so many people lost their lives, but this isn't the first time and sadly, it won't be the last. Pointing fingers at the two political parties won't resolve anything. Both sides had the power to do something, but they've done nothing. Instead of pointing fingers, work on coming up with saturations, that don't completely undermine the constitution, and actually resolve the problem.
If you make policies that protect people, instead of saying 'you can't be responsible, so I'm taking it a way' that's only going to make things worse.
Or, has everyone forgotten hw well prohibition went?
