CBS's Minnesota-station (WCCO) is reporting that a sign was recently erected at the corner of 38th & Chicago. A sign bearing George Floyd's name. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/sign-bearing-george-floyd-s-name-unveiled-at-38th-and-chicago-this-is-just-another-step-forward/ar-AAXJYwv?ocid=BingHomepageQuiz If you don't remember (I don't want to remember either, but) George Floyd was the innocent man 'accidentally-killed' by a police officer (the news calls it "murder"--and the officer was sentenced to 22-and-a-half years in prison--but I don't know if 'murder' was the conviction, as I don't see the intent). That started America's PDs on a re-evaluation of their officers' regard for citizens of minority-races. I agree that George Floyd is worthy of 'being remembered,' but NOT ON PUBLIC PROPERTY!

On the first day of his freshmen year of high school, my son was assaulted by a Black upperclassman because he dared to stand up for the rights of the freshmen and told that Black kid to stop. So, I demand that one main street in all Black neighborhoods be permanently changed to Johnny Rostykus Blvd.
