Hard to believe

Last week we had weather suitable for summer. Temperatures about 90 F. I very proactively made sure all the furnaces were off. Opened windows. We even ran the A/C at night in our bedroom. I took the heated mattress pad off the bed, planning to wash it when school was out. Removed the heavy comforter. Well, guess what? It has been hovering around 55 F. and hubby talked me into putting the heated mattress pad back on the bed. We may do the heavy comforter as well. Next week it will be June. In Kansas that is usually summer. Definitely we will do what feels comfortable to us, though.

It is still chilly here, too. The more it rains, the chillier it is. I pulled the winter bedding back out and put it back on my bed. (Pretty hasn't taken her winter bedding off her bed yet.)

I think we sleep better with warm beds. Maybe Pretty was smart this year.

I get caught sometimes with clothing. Just because it's supposed to be hot, I go out with not enough clothes on!

Sweaters have been my friend this year. I try to take one with me always. It does help on those iffy days.

We have had some really cool, dark, drizzly and rainy days lately, today included. I had to wear a sweater and a long sleeved top. Tomorrow is the same forecast, then we jump up to 90 something for days on end, then who knows, maybe a blizzard? Nothing would surprise me anymore.

You are sounding very much like our weather. It is strange.

I know your country is very hot. I do not think I will ever have the money to visit it, though.

Oh my goodness, your temperature really dropped a lot. Sunday morning it should do the same here, weird, weird, weird weather.

The constant rain made it feel even cooler. I hope your weather does not get too bad.
