Good character is the essence of a fine personality, A person with good character is highly respected in society and in the workplace. It is certainly in the childhood years that children’s mindsets can be molded and their character built. It is the parent’s responsibility to set general guidelines of behavior for children- - -in and outside the home.
Being a good role model for your children is an integral part of good parenting. Inculcating values like honesty, compassion, and hard work, encourages children to adopt these values in their daily lives. Parents, who themselves demonstrate courteous behavior both in and outside the home, can yield excellent results in character-building.
Praise is another important element in the character-building process. When parents acknowledge and periodically praise their children for their good behavior, it enables children to reinforce good behavior by making the right choices at home, school, and in a social setting. Doing so, enables children to behave responsibly and be in control over their own lives. Wise parents generally insist that their children are responsible for their own actions-- - -be they good or bad.
It is therefore vital that all caring parents take upon themselves the task of building their children’s character- - - from the early stage of child development.

That is true since children will learn to be good persons having good role models like parents to guide them from childhood.

I believe so too. Parents play a crucial role in guiding and molding the character of their kids. The positive approach always pays more than the negative approach.
Thanks for this wealth of information.
I like these statements the most: "When parents acknowledge and periodically praise their children for their good behavior, it enables children to reinforce good behavior by making the right choices at home, school, and in a social setting. "
