Two days into hurricane season...

...and we're supposed to expect tropical conditions that might result in loss of power. Or, so FPL (Florida Power and Light) is preparing for for parts of the state. While I do not know where, yet, I know Saturday our rain chances doubled. I'm hoping for the best.

I'm hoping the same. Won't be surprised if I'm telling my husband the powers out.... LOL...

Stay safe during this season. My country is going towards the rainy season and we will again experience typhoons and storms. Hoping that typhoons are not devastating.

Been five years since I arrived in the land of Florida and never lost power just lost the Internet the first year for 3 weeks so I am hoping to get by this time too.

I wish you luck. I've been here over twenty years just about and suffered many power outages. I don't foresee losing power this time, but It's happened before.

Trust me, I know. I've lived in Florida all my life. My house almost flooded once, too. But because of how it was built, we lucked out.
