I have lamented my slave's stupidity in the past. Good help is so hard to find. This time it involves cat food. He knows I like Meow Mix. So why did he bring me Purina Cat Chow three weeks ago? He claims the store was out of Meow Mix. But were ALL of the stores on our meow Mix? Clearly my work is not done with this human. I went on a hunger strike. I only ate the Purina garbage when I was really hungry. He got the message. So now I have Meow Mix again. And extra wet food. Humans have this silly emotion called "guilt." I can't "feel" it, being a cat, but I can exploit it. For the record, I may like the Meow Mix with the soft center even more than the regular Meow Mix. But either one is better than Purina Cat Chow. Fellow slave masters, how do you train your humans? The Horse still gives me my wet food mostly outside.

Hi Kitty, I am Gevi, the cat of LadyDuck. She also told me that the store was out of my favorite wet food. I do not like what she brought home, I refuse to eat that thing. For the moment I only eat the dry food, at least she bought the right one. Do you believe is true that the store was out of stock? I wonder if MY food is more expensive.

The Horse is at the keyboard. I will write a "real" response when he goes to work.

@TheHorse Good, I do not think she did not buy because it's more expensive, but I am a suspicious cat.

@TheHorse As I refused to eat, she gave me a small can of tuna, the same she eats, I was happy, she is a good Mommy.

I am Bright Eyes the manx cat. My human is a very stubborn woman. But she does let me have left overs so I usually eat the dry food she buys us. But this morning I peed a little bit on her hubbies glass case because they are not letting me go outside. So she is mad right now. But one of these days maybe they will get the message.

Bright Eyes, The Horse is in the bathroom. What's in the glass case? I leave fur balls now and again, but have not yet peed in The Horse's house.

Hi Kitty, who sneezed all over your screen? Tell your slave to clean it, it's disgusting.

That's not a sneeze. That's a flash. If you look closely, you can see The Horse's naughty bits in the reflection. In the future I will do a post about what happens when The Horse parades around this place with no clothes on. His coat is pathetic, as are most other things about humans. I do not know how natural selection did not do away with them generations ago.

I have two kittens in training. They are learning that if they meow real loud they will be fed and are just starting to learn what they like and do not like, So far they enjoy kitten wet food and their Mama's dry food, it takes time but I am sure I will learn their likes and dislikes as time goes by, Meanwhile be glad your Meow Mix is back on the menue.

Apparently you have your hoomin properly trained. Our dogs always trained us well. They always ate anything put in front of them; but they never came when called.

Did they come when there was food in the bowl? Do dogs and cats have a secret alliance?

@TheHorse They came running as soon as my hubby picked up the food bowls. But don't call them when they're outside....they never came.

Cats have the rights to. Humans should respect them.

I think it's the other way around. Cats don't really understand that humans have rights too. --Horse

@TheHorse It's absurd for humans to read the minds of cats.

I was owned by a baby for 14 years (the one in my profile picture), and she learned how to manipulate me with two words: LOOK CUTE.

If a cat is hungry, it will eat whatever you give it or catch it's own food. If Kitty wants to eat something besides what you give her, she can get a job and buy what she wants. It took years but even Pretty buys her own food now.

@Sojourn True! I wonder what kind of job she could find? She brings pony lizards and baby birds. There has to be someone who'd like that.

I think you’ve done a pretty darn good job of training your slave.
