Today is Diet Day

I am still trying to lose weight...the story of my adult life! My goal is 145 and this morning I was at 151.6. I am getting to my goal slowly but surely.
Once a week, my friend and I do a "diet day". I found a diet that helps you lose your final 15 pounds...or so they say. I did it and lost 7 pounds in one week, and only 1 pound the second week so got too discouraged to continue. But I use the menu from one of the diet days once a week and I always lose between 1 and 2 pounds.
Here's what I eat on diet day:
Breakfast: 1 whole egg and 1 egg white scrambled with 1/3 a cup of spinach or kale, and 3 grape tomatoes halved. 1 cup of coffee with nonfat half and half and a bit of flavored almond milk. 16 oz. of water.
Lunch: 1/2 a can of tuna on a bed of greens with a stalk of celery sliced into it and for the dressing I use 1 tablespoon of olive oil mixed with 1 tablespoon of vinegar. 16 oz water.
Snack: If I need a snack, at around 5:00 pm I have a stalk of celery with either peanut butter or almond butter on it, and 8 oz water.
Dinner: 4 oz of salmon, a serving of roasted asparagus, and a large serving of greens with the above dressing. 16 oz. of water.
Throughout the day I also drink unsweetened herbal tea. And I have to make sure I get at least 30 minutes of exercise in at some point during the day.
So, that's what works for me. Do you ever do a one day diet, and if so, what is your diet day like?
UPDATE: The day after doing this diet day I weighed 150.2 so it really does work!

I really don`t follow any food diet. I just make sure that I have a dancing exercise for an hour to burn my fats away and it works for me

Wow, a whole hour of dancing? That's a lot. Maybe I should try that. I can get a lot of steps in when I dance. Thanks for that idea.

That sounds like Intermittent Fasting. I have tried it but I get too hungry. Good for you by keeping stable with this.

I like to try to switch things up, but this diet day once a week is something I can always count on to help me lose.
