Job hunting

I had been in several companies since I started working. I started in an office setting as a Research Media Planner, the I went to hotel operations, executive assistant, barista, business development asst. And lastly Marketing which I think will be my career path. When I stopped my work last 2020 due to being laid off by the pandemic, our family got into a financial crisis so I needed to get a job and go back to work. When I had my interview and gave my expected salary, I was asked if they can lower it by 3,000 pesos. I was sad because I know how I work. But then again I needed to work for my family. Now that I started doing so much for the company, I am thinking that I might no be compensated for all the things I do for work. And I am having thoughts of applying abroad for work. I was hired for a Singaporean job opening as a Markeing Executive but after a few days it was cancelled. It was really frustrating and sad. So up until now I am looking for a job abroad just to fill the needs and get out of the financial crisis we have because of the pandemic. I might seem a notorious job hopper as they call but whatever it is, I need a good paying company for my family.

It's reasonable if you're looking for new opportunities in your career. However, I believe that once you have it, you should stick with it until you have discovered a better pasture to move to. If you quit because the compensation is lesser, your financial situation will only become worse.

Be contented of what you've got as a starting job. Learn to save and start making friends. Someday they'll find a good job for you.

Yeah this is true. But opportunities come right on time. I’ll be patiently waiting for the right time to come.
