I am so sick and tired of reckless drivers. I was on my way to the grocery store down the block from my house, went to cross the street and some guy that wasn't paying attention started to drive as if the light had changed and I was STILL in the street! He almost hit me. What is with all these inattentive, reckless drivers that act as if they are the only ones on the road and don't care if they mow you down? Am I the only one that is sick of this?

I don`t experience that around here in my place so far. People here gets mad at you if you don`t follow the traffic lights
I hope that person will realize what he did

Yes, that's really scary. Especially when vehicles love to tailgate.

I hate it! When I'm driving and someone tailgates I will be in my car like "Get off my butt!" It's now me and my auntie got rear ended, because the lady was tailgating AND looking at her phone, and she started to go forward before the light even changed cause she wasn't paying attention. And she bashed hard into the back of us because of how close she was when she started to go and we didn't. Like how hard is it to leave a little space between you and the car in front, because the rear end accident is automatically your fault.

@sickofbeingick22 You are so right. Humans have lived million of years without the need to look at their phone all the time, this is plain stupidity.

That drives me crazy! Like is it really that important that it can't wait until a safer time? Like what text is worth your life and/or the life of someone else? I do not get it. You're right about this one.

Nope. You are not alone. Most of it is that people are just either ignorant of other drivers or on their damn phones. It's why I pay extra attention. Developing "defensive driving" skills is an absolute must. At least it gives one a bit more time to be prepared and be able to better anticipate the moves of the other driver.

Yes that's what its called! Defensive driving skills, its like they teach them in driving class and as soon as people get that license they forget all about them. I am glad I am taking lessons cuz I didnt get my license the first time and the teacher really stresses defensive driving and always seeing everything, keeping your eyes moving.

In Brazil, the recklessness in traffic is surreal. Our laws for this type of crime are soft and revolting. Every year thousands of Brazilian lives are lost in traffic. Among the accidents the biggest victims are motorcyclists. Carelessness and drunkenness are the biggest causes of accidents with fatal victims in my country.
