My Month So Far

Hello, all. This is my first discussion here and I wanted to start out by posting how things are going for me right now.
Last month, I decided to take up a new hobby and now I'm doing it full time this month. That hobby is crochet! I never realized how fun and rewarding it really was. My interest was sparked when I found a blog that hosted many patterns and I fell in love with the styles, so I was determined to read books and try it out until I was doing it myself. Full speed ahead!
A few days ago, I turned 42 years old. People say I still look 12, but let me tell you, I sure don't feel like it! I am finally starting to feel the age setting in.
And last of all, I wanted to work on some goals of mine this year. I figured after turning a new age, it was the perfect time to also turn over a new leaf! I plan to do a lot of minimizing on excess things laying around. So, I'll probably donate some things as well as post some things online to sell.

I've got a few hobbies which I'd like to make into a career, card making, earring making and painting. I've done some watercolour paintings and some acrylic paintings. I'm not sure I would be any good at crochet! I'm no good at sowing.
I look a lot younger than I am too. I'm 52 and I'll be 53 years old on 10 July. People always think I'm still in my teens! I was in my 30's once and we were going to one of those open air museums, I think it was near Iron Bridge, and we walked up to the ticket booth and the guy said, two adults one child? and I said, three adults! I'm 32! (Or however old I was at the time.)
I need to sort some things out for charity too.

Yes, it was quite funny! I should have kept quiet and got in for child's price!
I'm quite looking forward to my birthday, yes.

Hi! I hope you have good luck with your creating! Painting was something I admired but could never do on my own! That is so funny that they thought you were that much younger! :-P But here's to a happy upcoming birthday for you! :-)
