how many wood turners are there on mylot or wood workers who else finds enjoyment doing this.to take a piece of ruff timber and turn it into something beautiful and timeless. what sort of timber craft do you enjoy.

I hope I am understanding you right, but my boyfreind likes to do crafts with wood. He is making christmas presents this way. So far he has made some shelves and a plaque and he burned this real nice picture on it. later on he is taking a piece of wood and carving it into a dog for me. here is a picture of his picture. It is not completely finished yet.

He doesn't think he is that good at it. And I have heard some not so nice words come out of his workshop.lol. I can't wait until he is finished with the tractor bed.

Hello... I am a woodtuner, and new to myLot...I have been turning steadily since Sept '05. My mind i s always wondering about the different effetcs, and possibilities that are out there. I have met 1 master woodturner. He has been turning for over 27 years. I love turning, and try to get on the lathe daily.

hello sorry it,s taken me so long to say g,day i have been fishing of lattly not home much.I like to do segment turning I find it,s more of a challenge.the effect is only limited be your mind and the of cut timber I can get my hands on.Whats your likes and dislikes in turn.
