Stage fright, how do you personally conquer it?

I know I can research this online, but I want to know from people who have personally experienced stage fright and how they have overcome it.
Each person has a different way of doing it, so I'm interested in your story.
For me, I usually do breathing exercises before I proceed to the stage. It could calm me a little bit, but there are still times when my voice trembles when I stand before a crowd of people.
What's yours?
Thank you in advance for sharing your tested method with our readers.

I pretend like I'm just talking to a friend. If there's a large room of people, I pretend like my friend is moving around so I turn to keep talking just to him. Each person becomes my friend for just a minute and then another person is my friend until my talk is done.
Then I sit down and start to shake.

I take a deep breath before proceeding to the stage. Once I start talking, I'm fine.

Practice in front of the mirror and build up your confidence from there.
