I am so fed up with scammers that call your phone over and over again from 15 different phone numbers and refuse to take not interested, don't call back for an answer. They make up stupid lies about why they are calling and when you tell them you don't have a car or already have health insurance or never signed up for a loan they get mad at you or over talk you. And then the call right back like you didn't just say no and hang up on their face. And the ones that call from multiple numbers and give different names but its always the same voice like I know you're not who you say you are get a life. Then there's the ones that say they are from some legit company about a bill that you know for sure you already paid in full, or they offer you a loan when the actual loan place already turned you down, or they say they are from Microsoft about your computer when you don't even own anything from them all your stuff is google chrome and apple, and any number of other things. It drives me crazy and they wont stop doing it.

I just do not answer numbers I do not know. I should do @MALUSE ' method for fun, though.

@sickofbeingick22 Delete them as soon as they come in, so your voicemail is not full. We also have the button "call refused", this is what I push when the number is clearly a spammer number. May be you have a different system in your country, because I notice you are very annoyed by spammers, while we are not here in Europe.

I try to do that too but oh man then they will call your phone 20 times filling up your voicemail and driving you batty. I have also hit decline while its ringing to not talk to them but they just hang up and either call again right away from that number or call from another one. Drives me nuts. And if you speak at all the start talking and wont stop. I do get some of them with the auto insurance one like "but I don't have a car" or the computer one "you didnt get an alert from my system about a microsoft error, I have all apple devices." stuff like that.

You can just block them or don't answer phone calls from unknown numbers. But sometimes you may be called by someone important. I just think you should just answer the phone and hang up if it they bring up such conversations.

I have a spam blocker now, and I hand up and block if its those and put names like robo spammer 2 or health insurance scam again, funny things that stick out. Its the ones that are almost identical to my doctor or family member, the important numbers that sneak through.

I block as many as I can. I use decline on others. But some of them trick me, they'll have official looking caller IDs that I will think they are a company I use, or their number is almost identical to someone like my doctor or a family member, or they catch me in the morning when Im half asleep, bleary eyed, no glasses and cant see the phone and I just hit it trying to shut it up.

I know how you feel. The phone calls, some days almost thirty spam calls, were seriously driving me over the edge. There are a lot of spam blockers and some are free, but I use Mr Number. It costs about four dollars a month, but the peace and quiet is well worth it to me.

If the number isn't in the phone memory or it is number withheld, I ignore it and turn the ringer off. It turns itself on again after a few minutes, so I don't miss important calls. I find that I am now getting fewer nuisance calls... at least for the moment!
