The Dental Clinic

Yesterday, I told you about my schedule with the dentist. But after some hours, the dental assistant messaged me asking if we could reschedule it because the doctor was not available. I was so surprised because I booked an appointment a week before. Also, they do not accept walk-ins so patients must book an appointment, now the funny thing is, that appointment is still subject to approval. I wish they just indicated on the form that we could book a schedule anytime of the week except Tuesday as it was the doctor's day off. But the assistant told me that every week, the doctor changes her day off Am wondering how do they get clients. It is pretty incovenient to book an appointment Now, I decided to just go to the clinic that is open everyday and you can just walk in.

I still remember last time one of the dentist at our university said that my teeth don't need scaling yet. Just wait for a few more years.... Like, I don't want to wait and started to smell.....

True. If offering services is your business, you must be quick to act.

@Janet357 Ah yes. You are right. At last, I just go to outside the campus and get scaling there. Rotten teeth don't wait though.

I do not blame you going to a clinic to book an appointment these days.

It's unfortunate that they have a booking system that requires confirmation. I believe they simply need to improve the organization of their booking system and avoid rebooking, as this can lead to dissatisfied customers.

@Janet357 One thing that causes confusion in the system is its flexibility. The dentist must simply provide a fixed day off so that clients avoid this date.

True and I find it odd that a dental clinic has that system and it has no definite day off.

We need to make an appointment for both of us to have a tooth fixed. We both broke a molar on the same day. I was eating a piece of tootsie roll. I don't know how Pretty broke her tooth. The teeth don't hurt, so we aren't in a hurry to make the appointments.

@Janet357 I like candy but don't eat it very often. Yes, she's my youngest child.

Tootsie roll! I did not know you still had a sweet tooth. Is Pretty your youngest?

This sounds pretty unprofessional. They'll lose a lot more patients if they don't start treating them better.

This sounds ridiculous, how can you book an appointment if he changes his day off every week?

Exactly; this is my point. I have this feeling that the doctor does not go to her clinic if there are not many patients. So she will reschedule them.

@Janet357 This is not very nice and when there are many patients he will keep them waiting.

It is good to have an appointment first before going to the dentist. I went to the dentist last Tuesday.

It appears that their booking system is not well managed and they don't take their customers seriously. Yes, better go to another clinic.

I wish they would improve it because there are so many dental clinics around.
