I posted my previous discussion almost 1 AM. While typing the electricity went off. According to my brother it went off earlier yesterday because of the faulty wiring in one of the posts. When I got home last night, the power was already restored. But it went off again.
I grabbed my niece's white folder so I can use it as a fan, hand fan. I don't know how long I was able to nap. I can feel the sweat on my neck and on my back. It is as if I am lying on a water bed.
We still don't have electricity, according to the announcement from the electric company, the fix will be completed at 8 AM. My phone is almost dead.

My goodness! You have the same problem as in India. In India most of the places have electricity failures. Most of us use power back up. Don't you use a power back up?

well in philippines there is so much black outs as of there is many tangled wires and yea its so many. that if you compared it to a hair that is knot.
but yea when there is no electricity, I lay down on the floor as it makes cold cuz idk why. but floor is cold so I use that to not get sweat easily. and I keep my heart beat so slow that I will not even move even a muscle. I guess, but yea those things work. and when I got sleep for doing that. and when I woke up its either there is good news as power came back. or still no.

Floors stay cold longer than walls or ceiling or beds because they're in contact with the ground or the air from the ground helps them stay cold longer. Walls/ceiling/beds get hot fast because the sun or our bodies touch them and they pick up the heat faster.

@DaddyEvil thank you for jumping in here and for the explanation.
Growing up, our parents does not want us to lay down on the floor because it is cold.

@jobelbojel You're very welcome.
When I was a kid, mom would tell us to sleep on the floor because it was cooler there. We didn't have an A/C while I was growing up.

The electricity was up before 8 am, 3 minutes before. We don't cook for breakfast which is a good thing because if we do, we can't see what we are supposed to cook.

I have a powerbank but my brother is using it. My problem was the AC, it was too hot without electricity.

I think that is in the news that the electricity supply in our grid is a bit of a lean this past few weeks. That is why I think that is what happened to your place where the power was cut and restored only at a later time. I hope the incoming president would be able to solve this soon and find ways to resolve this.

I always have a ready fully charged battery pack in case the power goes off for several hours.
