How many of you sang this wonderful song " I saw rain drops on my window, joy is like the rain...". in school?I have with my teachers when I was in my elementary school. I still remember the song as it's so close to life. I song came to my mind today as it raining here in my city. Raindrops were on my window and joy did come as it's cooling down and it isn't that hot.
We all understand the meaning of the song that like sorrow, joy too comes and goes in our lives and both are part of our lives as day and night.

I don't know that song.
I am glad the rain has come to your area and is bringing bearable temperatures now. (Is this the time that you can have a garden on a balcony or is that during the hot weather.) I'm never sure which time is which in India. We have a definite winter, when it's too cold for outside plants to grow and a warm summer when we plant gardens or grow flowers and edible plants on our balcony or porch. (I have onions, tomatoes and bell peppers along with lettuce and spinach growing in pots on my front porch.)

I learned the song in school. Here we get rains in the month of June which continues till August. Before that is summer and it's hot. Winter come in October and continues till March. My garden looks the best from end of June till March.

I got my school education in an convent and therefore know a number of English songs that I learned from my teachers. I love hindi songs too. I listen to them and sing too when I get bored.

I never heard that song. The song that's familiar to when I was a kid, "Rain, rain go away". But practically I love the rain, playing and dancing under it.

Rain rain go away is a nursery rhyme and I referred to a song in my discussion. However I don't like getting wet in the rain.

Haven't heard of this song. Yes, we need rain to cool down the temperature. Today, we have very heavy rain due to a tropical storm nearby our area. Can't talk a walk outside.

This song is taught in the convent with English teacher. I had my schooling in a convent school. It's raining here but not heavily and it's cool.
