Does anybody here play chess?

No, I know the basic moves of the pieces but when I asked a "friend" to teach me the game, all he did was laugh at how easy it was to beat me. He didn't even try to teach me anything. The second time he started screaming about how dumb I was, I put the board and pieces away and haven't bothered to try to learn again. (He called me a "sore loser". I agreed with him and told him he wasn't welcome in my home anymore.)

Yes and no. I don’t know how — as in, the strategy — to play chess. I know how the pieces move, but not the planning stages.

I do play chess but I'm not good at it. Even my little brother defeat me.
