I might have to seek a part time job online.

I have been seeking several ways of going for my holidays with people I like (love).
My friends cannot go with me. I asked Coral and Dixie and they cannot this year. Dixie and Humberto have been waiting for 2 years to go to Australia to meet their youngest granddaughter.
My grandchildren are either studying or working except Diego. He has a temporary job as he wants to study next year. So, yesterday, I invited him.
But I will have to py even for his plane fare. And that is a lot of money.
Today I answered my second survey of the week. Maybe I should check if there are more. Even if I can earn 50 or 60 dollars, it will help us.
And today I will look at the freezer to see what I have hoarded. I´ll make weekly menus so that I can live on a budget.
How do you solve money problems?

Yep you should really do if you having money issues.
I don't have to solve money issues as my father paying everything.
But when I was in school. I do save my money to buy things. And sometimes I make them grow by doing a service..
Like when my classmate ask me to buy from canteen. They will pay me some money. And yes not a lot but It makes me feel rich that day lol

Normally I would have enough money although I´m retired. But I lent my extra money to my 2 daughters and they can´t pay me now. And now the dollar has gone up in my country and I want to take vacations.

I´ll start doing surveys from now on. I lent all the money I could spare to my daughters but they cannot pay it back right now.

What usually happens is that more job appears out of nowhere. I don't have any extra work lined up for next year, but I didn't really have so this year either. (Year = August to July, since I work at the university). Now I'm fine til February/March, if no extra job turns up all on it's own I will either try to find a sensible flatmate or go crazy in extra grading in November/December.
I do also try to make some sensible choices when it comes to food and when I fill the tank.

@marguicha I answer quite a few surveys. In one panel I get gift cards, but two other ones pay via paypal. It is very up and down how many surveys come, but it's quite easy money. You should be able to make some money before August.
Where are you going on holiday?

I have been able to live within my means and know how to do it. But now I need to buy a plane fare within 2 months. I usually save more in groceries and planing good but inexensive meals than in any other thing. But that takes time.

@marguicha Plane fares are really expensive at the moment. At least they are here so I guess it's no different there.

Iusually have enough money for all my expenses. But this year I will invite my grandson Diego to Aruba with all expenses paid. I have paid the lodgings already and have saved some money for food. But the air fare will be a lot.

Much the same way you do. I try to earn online, seek alternative funding, be very frugal with food, and gas trips. I am having to use a lot of air conditioning this year, though.

I plan ahead. I really have to be steadfast in saving because I live on such a strict budget. I do my bills three months in advance. I think doing your menus ahead is a great thing to do in savings. I hope you reach your goal.

I will go anyway. But maybe I will have to pay for one ticket in installments and pay little by little.

I am retired now. And I don´t have the age or health to go to work again. But I can work a bit online and that would help.

I put myself on a budget and use envelopes each week. When the money in an envelope is gone for that week, that's it.But sometimes I have extra money in an envelope, like if I didn't spend as much on groceries as I allowed myself. So I put that money in savings. I also use coupons for groceries and cleaning supplies...I don't know if you have coupons where you live? And I buy what is on sale that week and plan my meals around the sales. I am a member of YouGov and Mypoints which helps me earn extra gift cards so I can put the money I would use for gas into my savings account if I can get a gas card. I used to have a yard sale every year but my new community doesn't allow yard sales. I also sell on eBay, and am thinking about posting some things I no longer need on Facebook
Marketplace. Do you have that in Chile? I also write on HubPages. Can you babysit for anyone's children for a bit?Sell something you have at your house that you no longer need? Make and sell something crafty? Good luck. I hope you find a way to get the money you need.
