Well, the wanting to buy my house.
First, somebody has given out my phone number so I am getting calls and texts from people wanting to buy his property, which isn't my property.
This guy asked if I were Mrs...
No.
Did I live at that property?
No.
Well, we are wanting to buy any property, would I be interested in selling mine?
Where would I live if I sold you my home?
Oh... well, do you know anyone who wants to sell their property?
Where would they live if they sold you their homes?
Oh... well, have a nice day.
And, since this is July 4th, which is a National Holiday - yeah, I know, people still have to work, the roomie has to work - still... but I got a text from someone earlier about selling my house.

And at this point I'd stop answering calls and texts from numbers I didn't already have in my phone's contact list.
I hope they stop bothering you soon.

@ElicBxn Yeah, I understand. That's why I also block numbers that aren't in my phone's contact list. My phone ONLY rings for those numbers. Other people not in the list, can leave a message but my phone doesn't make a sound for those. Anyone leaving a message normally gets blocked after I check to see who they are.
I have been getting a lot more doctor calls lately. I can't convince them to keep calling me from the same number each time they call.

I keep getting mass-produced "hand written" flyers from various persons wanting to buy... one day I got 3 different such things in the same mail batch.

@BarBaraPrz yeah, but I'm about 9 miles to the (Texas) Colorado River. Probably a mile closer to the State Capitol. Texas is big and Austin, while both the 11th largest city in the U.S. and 4th largest in Texas, really is just a long, city, but it has gotten very wide lately. It is hard for a non-driver to get around. Someone had to drive to San Antonio by Lyft this last week. He didn't charge her to drive her back since it was already at $100 to get to the doctor's appointment.

They are, and the cost of living in Austin, where I live, is one of the highest that isn't on either the east or the west coast. With Apple Computer having a large facility here and the home of Dell Computers, their upper people can afford to live here. I can only live here because I already own my home.
