“Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds” is a popular song from 1967 recorded by The Beatles and on their Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album. It was mostly written by John Lennon but credited to Lennon-McCartney. The song was inspired by a drawing done at nursery school by Julian Lennon which he called "Lucy – in the sky with diamonds". Lennon attributed the fantastic imagery in the song to the “Alice In Wonderland” books. A cover version was done by Elton John in 1974 and it went to number one on the charts.
*Just a note to say I will continue with the Day In Country Music but for some odd reason the site is giving me yesterday's news not today so I will try again tomorrow

@JimBo452020 but then remember what happened to Alice and what she saw in the Wonderland books and she was not tripping so the books could have inspired Lennon

I'm not a fan of Beatles, but maybe I will try to listen to that song "Lucky in the sky of Diamonds".

Old music is far more interesting compared to today's music. The old ones are not easy to forget and remain in the heart for a long time.
