I always said I would never get one since I do not like loans, but I finally caved. I'll definitely pay bills on time though so I do not incur fees. Hopefully there won't be any unknown transactions since i hear those happen to people sometimes.

@JimBo452020 I never keep cash around and so when I have some pennies in the bank I get things with my debit card. Everything I make goes from site to PayPal to my bank,

@RasmaSandra I have both now but I rarely use my debit card for physical purchases. I just get scared it's gonna get hacked or something.

Here's hoping you have a good experience with your new card. Just be sure to check your statements and you should be good.

I've read some horror stories about that. I'll probably check my statements daily.

Just remember to use it only for important purchases. Also, pay the full balance every time.

Credit card can help ease the financial pressure, but make sure you build your income to that you can offset the loan. Good luck

Yeah, if that person has no self control. Most of my friends with credit cards always pay on time, which is good.

@solidcodes not if we pay on time though, and manage to avoid annual fees.

@lady1993 You better use DEBIT card not CREDIT card. With CREDIT card you are making the bank more richer.

Use it wisely, and it would be best if you could pay the remaining debt as soon as you can. Be cautious when making online purchases as well because you could be conned there. Just make sure the website is trustworthy and secure before using your card. Your credit card could be a blessing for you if you can manage it correctly, but if you use it carelessly, it could become your biggest liability.

So true, I'm getting a credit card that has a paired online card with a different card number - just to make online purchases safer.
