Queen Elizabeth 2, the 70,000-ton luxury ship is now docked in Dubai. It is a floating hotel with excellent rooms which were earlier used by passengers when the ship sailed all over the world. The place on the ship that I liked the most was the Golden Lion bar which is adjacent to the chart room where the route the ship was going to take through the ocean was plotted.
The bar is luxury personified and has some very rare scotch whiskey on the menu. The Barman can serve you some excellent cocktails as well and of course, if somebody doesn't want liquor he can have is mocktail but everything comes with a price and one must be ready to pay for the luxury of this type.
There is also a wonderful restaurant on the top deck where you can have excellent food coupled with whiskey and if you prefer cocktails. A visitor to Dubai should not miss visiting this lovely floating hotel which is a tribute to the city often referred to as the El Dorado of the East.
The ship used to be powered by 2 diesel-electric engines which have been made serviceable.

That is a cool idea to turn the ship into a hotel.
