PIN NUMBER REVERSAL (GOOD TO KNOW)

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse. For example if your pin number is 1234 then you would put in 4321. The ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you placed in the machine. The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you. This information was recently broadcasted on TV and it states that it is seldom used because people don't know it exists. Please pass this along

if this is indeed true than i hope it works. But if the theives also are aware of this, I dont know, they will think of a loophole or harm the individual after taking the money (incase the police are late!)

I never would have thought of that and it would be good to know. But I really don't think that I would even be able to remember that, let alone take advantage of it, if I ever were in a situation where I was being robbed. I know we all react differently in a crisis and as of yet I have never had the pleasure of being robbed but I am honest enough with myself to admit I might just panic and give them all the money :/

million, or the payments over years for the full amount. Take into consideration that the government wants a hefty chunk for taxes......

ATM - ATM
this is not implemented in all the countries though it may be existing in some countries i m not sure of it. Actually there weer some issues with this.. like if the PIN is a palindrome or something ..
