Waiting for my student, cold weather, etc

I was waiting for my student to go online when someone messaged me, applying for a job which I posted in. 2018. Wondering why some people don't read. Anyway, am enjoying our gloomy cold weather here. Thunders startled me and my dog. I thought I would lose my connection. Now, the surrounding is all damp. Tomorrow, is my day off but I will wake up as early as my hubby to go to the bank. How did your Monday start?

My day is off to a typical Monday...laundry, paying bills, etc. I did have my coffee outside as the weather is beautiful today.

@Janet357 when it's not too hot it's perfect to start the day having coffee outside and enjoying the quiet.

The Monday started with a nice breezy sunny day. The temperature is getting up now, later I will go walking.

@Janet357 It would be wonderful to sit outside in the garden, having a chat while drinking something fresh.

Clearly this person didn't pay attention to when it was posted. I'm just starting my morning shift. It's starting off alright. Could be worse.

Well, it's still before dawn on Monday here. I'm still talking on myLot. We've had a couple of days that looked like it would rain but no rain fell. *shrug* Maybe the person was just hoping you still had the job opening? (There's actually no telling what the person actually thought.)

That was 4 years ago. I wonder is the position still open? (just kidding) I am just happy I was able to get my errands done and over with one to a doctor and another to a cooperative bank.

The person may be just trying his/her luck that you have a job vacancy from time to time.

When I was in the UK, I rarely noticed any thunderstorm, the rain was mild there.
