Just couldn't wait to get in the pool again....
Okay, Willie Nelson I'm not--I really just need the exercise, and while the weather's so hot, I'm going to take advantage.
Only about eight people at the pool today including me. No one was chatty today, so I just spent about an hour and a half (?) doing laps.
I expect about a half-gallon of water to leak out of each ear while I'm sleeping tonight. My ears definitely feel plugged.
When I was a kid I always wanted to have a pool--and while this one's technically not mine, it's nice to not have to head across town to get to the public pool (and then pay to get in)!

Ooh there's a pool at your new place? That's pretty awesome.

I seldom go to the pool. I go only when we have a family outing. I swim in the shallow portion of the pool.

For those living near the beach, they shouldn't go to the pool unless they have special reasons to do so. I never go to the pool to swim. When my children were still small, they enjoyed swimming or simply just to play with water, I often accompanied them. The pool is not far away, so it was okay to go there.
