It's been a while since I read and visited you all, but I have been busy with LIFE as they call it. Much has happened in the world of late with the "MASK" almost at its end and free mobility has once again got us up and out and on the go in the fast lane of living. Being a 'couch traveller' for months on end is at its end as my hubby and I plan a new adventure into the mountains of Lesotho, a landlocked country within South Africa, but a country with much to offer. In the Highlands of Lesotho, we will be visiting and touring the Katse Dam, a concrete arch dam on the Malibamat'so River which is Africa's second-largest double-curvature arch dam. Then we will follow a very steep mountain drive to another dam called The Mohale Dam which is the tallest rock-fill concrete-face dam anywhere in Africa. Before we leave the borders of this small little country within our own, we will be pony riding to the Maletsunyane Falls which were first seen by French missionary François Le Bihan in 1881 and called the "Site of smoke". Pony riding will be fun especially at my age, as I have not been on a horse or pony for many a year. Most interesting facts you might like to read: This 192-metre-high waterfall is on the Maletsunyane River and it falls from a ledge of 'Triassic-Jurassic basalt' - scientifically saying, stems from the extinction event which marks the boundary between the Triassic and Jurassic periods. . . . . all this right here in Africa under our noses. I just hope we don't find any Jurassic creatures still hovering around . . . like something out of a Spielberg movie eeeeeeek! Then our travels will take us to the coast and a week's vacation at the sea. Couch Travel - I have enjoyed all you have had to offer but it's time to get off the couch and do some of my own travellings for this year. Bucket list NOTE to SELF: “I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list.” Thank you for reading and a very warm hello to you all

Great to see your name appearing again. I think you're the third that I've seen coming back over the last few days. I hope you have a great trip. It sounds amazing. And good luck with the pony ride. I really envy you

I like your photo. So where do you still have to go to consider yourself to have been everywhere?

That sounds like an incredible trip. It's actually difficult to imagine a 192 metre high waterfall. I've visited the highest waterfall in England a couple of times. A less than impressive 21 metres!!!!
