False Advertisement

Lately, I ordered several items from an online shops. Most purchases went fine but it really got my nerve when I receive one of my orders were not exactly as advertised. I bought two rolls of self adhesive wall papers and the description says that it's 10mX45cm but in actual, it's only 5.5m. Now, I can't use it in the whole space that it should be intended. I did not return the items because it's just a hassle but I gave the store a bad review. I chatted the store representative and she's a bit rude.

That is not honest, tell them to send you a second one so you will have a little more than 10 meters.

@ZedSmart That is how they were not honest, they declared the total length of the two rolls.

They sent me two rolls Ms. Anna but I expected that each roll measures 10 meters each where in fact each only measured 5.5. They're really bad.

I was told to return the item for refund but I did not. I aired my disgust and frustration to them though.

@m_audrey6788 If it cost me that much and I was not satisfied, I should not hesitate to ask for refund though. Same with the appliance I bought two months ago.

You should have asked them for the replacement. I would have returned the order as I won't have liked to waste my money.

If it cost me much, I wouldn't have let it pass. I can still use the item but not as what it was intended.

That is just bad marketing. I have purchased online multiple time and most did not satisfy my expectations.

Yes, that's is true. It looks fine in the images where in actuality it's not even close.

I don't like when there is a rude store representative. I would block and never go to that store again, online or offline.

Are the shops reputable? I just buy from those which are reliable and reputable. I don't want the hassle returning the items.

It's possibly someone guessed at the size but that's a major difference.

If it cost me much, I'll probably ask a refund and return the item. However, the cost is still bearable and I will just use the item the other way around.
