This is salak fruit. Many salak's trees planted around Mount Merapi. Salak's skin was hard like snake scales. The color is brown. You have to be careful peeling this fruit because the salak's skin is sharp. The inside of the salak fruit is white and the taste of the fruit is sweet (not too sweet, a little sweet) and crunchy.
