I love turtles. Have watched them hatch on the beach and helped the babies get to the water. Little miracles.

They are born from eggs. They come out of the egg, but they don't shed their shells or remove them. Those shells they carry around are there for life.
Many times baby sea turtles get eaten by birds, etc. before they can make that mad dash for the water. So often people try to help them navigate the patch of sand to get there safely.

I have seen videos of baby sea turtles crawling to the sea. It must be amazing to see this sight in real life!

I will raise them. If I leave them in the wild they would be in danger. In my country it is common to eat this kind of animals.

They are so cute. Turtles can live for decades. So caring for them is a long term commitment.
