I got my Ancestry DNA test results back! You can see some in the photos above. A brief explanation: None of my results were a big surprise, although I was a bit shocked to see how little Scottish and Irish is in my ethnicity. Communities my DNA was a part of in the past include Early Pennsylvania Settlers(USA), Northwest Poland, and Southern Ontario Settlers(Canada). I also found out I have 724 4th cousins or closer on the Ancestry website. I have a lot more research to do. I'm very intrigued!

So what was the big deal of having your DNA result?

Also, just letting you know your comment sounded very rude.

@MissNikki It just a question. How come it is rude?

My sister works with Ancestry. She’s discovered some amazing things about our family.

@MissNikki My sister loves it, I'm not as interested. She's collected so much she'll never get it all together.

My sister did this, and shared the results with me. There was only one thing we didn't suspect in there. Some amount of Eastern European.

That's really interesting, isn't it? I'm tempted to get mine done but haven't yet.

I didn't know you can get a DNA that shows you ethnicity, I have never heard of it in my country. What did they use to test that.

I am working on my Ancestry results as well. It is very interesting, and a lot of fun. Takes some time, I am attempting to build a tree.

I doubt we even have time to do those things. I'm pretty sure that I'm mostly spanish. Wished we have that in Asia.

Wow, 724 cousins, that's a great many. I would love to do this, maybe one day.

Yeah, it seems crazy but I guess with billions of people on the earth it really isn't that hard to believe.
