5G means 5th generation technology I.e. 5G. It will speed up internet and our browsing, downloading capacity. This is great but do we really need it? The internet speed already we have is not sufficient. At most what will they increase up to just click and a page will appear within a second, Isn't it? Why not we just use current speed , it is very sufficient. And we use funds of it in some other helpful activities.

The real purpose of creating all these faster and better technologies has nothing to do with consumerism. Selling it to world consumers is just another way to harvest the funds to keep exploring the limits. After all he who holds the keys rules the world.

Well, people are talking about 6th generation already. If you ask me, 5G is not a necessity. Technology companies need to keep on creating new ideas/products to survive and make profits. Their demand marketing strategy is to get people excited about a new brand or product to generate demand.
