What is something that Covid couldn’t take away from you?

When the pandemic hit I was living as an expat in China. Had a wonderful job and an ever better partner. Our wedding was scheduled for June later that year. And then, January 2020 it hit. He had to leave China and two more long years would pass before were finally able to reunite in April of this year. Now, we are finally together and married. Covid couldn’t take away our love and commitment for one another.

@Greencindere It's really not so surprising. I live in Germany and have met many people from the former Yugoslavia. Your surname just sounds Serbian!
Why are you living in Zambia if I may ask? It's not the typical country for Serbian expats, is it?

@MALUSE oh I see. I’m married to a Zambian and we are currently here because of his job. No not many Serbians here but there is a substantial Greek community surprisingly.

Hi Kristina and welcome to myLot. I believe I've had Covid and probably still do. Weird neurological symptoms going on for I'd say... maybe a year and a half now. Muscle twitches in my legs, and as I'm sitting here typing, my whole body is rocking to the right. You can imagine what that does to your visual field. Everything looks as if it's slightly swaying side to side. Just enough to annoy you. And as a Libra, we're all about balance so it's really messing with me. Can barely do yoga, can't hold any of the poses, when I walk, the ground keeps moving, and just a general feeling of blah. Been to Urgent Care a few times (they did not test me) and they just keep telling me it's anxiety or my ears. But ear drops didn't help. Well, I just ordered a bunch of home Covid tests, so we will see. I was never vaccinated.
I hope you enjoy your time on the site. And glad you guys were able to reunite.
I'll be in bed chillin' watching Will & Grace.
