Evening Meal

When the night fell starving starts making me weak. I rushed the nearby restaurant. There were so many types of food priced from the lowest to the most expensive ones. The choices are yours to make. I chose the simple one: it's either cheap nor expensive. It's called grilled satay--chopped meat + white rice without forgetting chilly of course. I only bought 10 sticks of grilled meat. That was enough to make me feel great ready to start the day. How is your day? Hope it's great and you are happy today. Photo: Robby Satya's Story

Your meal looks delicious. (I will skip the rice, of course.) I have no clue what I'll be having for my meal. I'm eating a bowl of watermelon right now.

Those satays looks delicious. I wonder until what time are the restaurants open there to serve customers?

@yanzalong It's good that there are 24 hour restaurants. I don't usually go out in the evening to eat especially when it's late for a snack. I just order for food delivery.

This food in the photo looks good. I feel tired today, I could not sleep well because of the heat.

@yanzalong Yes, satay dishes are popular here in many restaurants - and in homes.

I believe I've seen sticks of meat on your pictures before. Is this a common food in your country? They look really good.

Sounds delicious but it seems lots of cholesterol.

Meat contains lots of cholesterol. You are better off being careful not to eat much of it.

Depends on how you buy it if on the side of the road maybe the price is cheaper than in the restaurant, the most important thing is cheap and clean.

We buy satay from a seller who passes our home. It's delicious and I am sure it is clean as well.

We do have here in our place. We call them finger foods. They're sold every night along the road of the public plaza.
