No more lockdown, said the newly minted president of the Philippines, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., in his state of the nation address. His pronouncement was well-received by a people reeling from the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was a well-prepared, well-orchestrated speech contrary to his somewhat bland campaign slogan of " unity".
The list of his legislative agenda sounded impressive and appeared too good to be true.
The security protocol was at its utmost which includes the vaccination card; political messages on clothes were forbidden.

I’m happy to see more countries are rejecting lockdowns and implementing ‘living with Covid’ policy. Lockdowns did serve a purpose at their time but are redundant now and we all need to learn how to live and stay safe with all the dangers that surround us, even Covid.

@Junbals same. It’s affecting the middle aged people the most who are not necessarily tech savvy and are losing their jobs and pensions because of it. Less job opportunities because now one person can fill multiple positions. It hasn’t been good.
